Yes, you are eligible to appear in CTET 2016 examination being a B.Ed 1st year student. Candidates who have completed Graduation with an aggregate of at least 50% marks from a recognized university and passed or appearing in first year Bachelor in Education.

CTET Eligibility 2020
Candidates should pass 10+2 with minimum 45 per cent aggregate marks in order to be qualified for appointment as a primary stage teacher
Candidates should clear graduation with minimum 45 per cent aggregate marks or 10+2 with at least 50 per cent aggregate marks in order to be qualified for appointment as an elementary stage teacher
Candidates should complete the prescribed teacher training programmes/teacher education courses.

Diploma in Education (Special Education) and B.Ed (Special Education) recognised by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) only will be taken into consideration. A person who is currently pursuing any of the education courses recognised by the NCTE or the RCI is eligible for appearing in CTET 2020.

Yes, you can pursue both courses as an integrated dual degree course. You are allowed to do Bachelor of Education and Master of Science as an integrated degree course after covering the eligibility criteria of both the courses. You can do an M.Sc and B.Ed together.

Ed degree, you will be eligible to get job in secondary and higher secondary schools. After pursuing B. With B.Ed degree you can work in Schools, Education Department, Coaching Centers, Education consultancies, home and private tuitions, etc.

However, the CTET exam comprises questions from subjects such as Child Development and Pedagogy, Language I (compulsory), Language II (compulsory), Mathematics, Environmental Studies, Science, and Social Studies/Social Sciences. CTET exam comprises two papers - Paper-I and Paper-II.

Step 2: Fill all the required details: Candidate Name, Mother's Name, Father's Name, Date of Birth in capital letters. Step 4: Enter your aadhar card number, chose your gender, category and finally select the status of Employment and the status of Qualifying Exam.
