Yes, surface chemistry is included in the CUET UG 2025 syllabus under the topic of physical chemistry and has a good weightage. This unit is comparatively a little easy as compared to any other unit, so one should prepare this unit first. It covers key topics like adsorption (physisorption & chemisorption), catalysis, colloids, Tyndall effect, electrophoresis, emulsions, and related concepts

To register for CUET UG at Acharya Narendra Dev College (ANDC), you must register on the when applications open, in February 2025. The test will probably occur between May and June 2025. Following the results, you can apply to ANDC using the DU Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS), usually in June or July 2025. For the 2022- 23 admission cycle (the most recent for which detailed CUET cut-off data is available), Assam University, Silchar's first round closing mark for the ST category in B.Pharm was a composite CUET score of 90.3762106, corresponding to Common Merit Position 126.
In other words, the last ST category candidate to secure a seat in the very first merit list needed to have scored at least about 90.38 on their aggregated CUET rating. Subsequent ST applicants fell into the wait list, where the next highest scores ranged down into the high 80s. No, CUET UG exam is not mandatory for admission to BA Philosophy courses in government and private colleges of India.
Most of the admissions to undergarduate course in Philopsophy in colleges of India is based on Class 12 merit, but some of the popular colleges in India ask for entrance exam scores for admission.
Most common entrance exams for BA Philosophy admission are CUET UG, SAT India, PUBDET, etc. Students must check the college admission policy before applying.

Admission to any course at the School of Legal Studies, Apeejay Stya University, is not done based on the scores obtained in the CUET exam. To be eligible for the course, the candidate must have passed the previous qualification in a relevant stream from a reputed institute with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

No, Section 3, the General Aptitude Test (GAT), in CUET is not compulsory overall. However, it is often a requirement for specific undergraduate programs at many participating universities, especially top-ranked ones like Delhi University (DU), Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), and Banaras Hindu University (BHU). Therefore, while not mandatory for all courses, it is highly recommended to prepare for and take the General Test, as it significantly enhances a candidate's chances of admission to many universities and programs.
