No, CUET is not the only entrance examination that Somaiya Vidyavihar University considers for admissions to BA courses. The university also accepts the scores of other entrance examinations i.e., SVU ET . However, the acceptance of entrance examination scores differs according to the BA specialsiation selected by the students.
Note: This information is not definite because the university can change the admission guidelines and process according to the circumstances.

The marks required in CUET for B.Com vary depending on the university and the competition. Most Central Universities and other participating universities set their own cut-off scores based on factors like the number of applicants, difficulty level of the exam, and the total number of available seats. Typically, scoring around 60-80 percentile is necessary to secure admission to top universities for B.Com. However, for highly competitive universities, candidates may need to score in the higher percentile range (80%+). Always check the specific cut-offs for your preferred university.

No, Somaiya Vidyavihar University does not solely accept the scores of CUET UG for admission to BBA general and BBA (Hons) courses. The university also accepts the scores of other entrance examinations, such as SVU ET (Somaiaya Vidyavihar University Entrance Test). It is an in-house university entrance test. Additionally, candidates with valid scores achieved in MAH BBA CET can also get admission to the BBA course at SVU Mumbai.

Yes, ICFAI University Jaipur does consider CUET score for admission to BTech programme. However, it is not mandatory to have a CUET score for admission. Candidates are also selected for BTech programme based on their Class 12 score. Once selected, aspirants also need to pass a personal interview round for admission.

If you're unsure about your career goals, don't worry—CUET subject mapping can still be strategized to keep your options open. The key is to choose subjects that provide versatility and align with your strengths and interests. Here are a few tips to help you make the right decisions:

  • Choose subjects that are widely accepted across multiple courses and universities (e.g., English, History, Political Science, and Economics).
  • Opt for subjects you are confident in and enjoy studying.
  • Include a general test as a backup for cross-stream flexibility.
  • Research emerging fields and courses that align with your broad interests.
