Yes, as BSc admission takes place through the score and rank secured in CUET entrance exam, the candidate has to apply for the exam to gain admission into the programme. Gauhati University does not accept or conduct any other exam for admission into the BSc programme. In addition to that, candidates should also have a minimum aggregate of 40% in their Class 12 to be eligible for admission into the Gauhati University BSc programme.

If the  course you want to take requires only 3 subjects, in that case keeping extra subjects may lead to unnecessary preparation burden and confusion during the exam.Prepearing for the require subject will result in better scores. So I think you should correct it , if the correction window is still open. But if these act as backup and does not cause extra streen then you can leave them as it is.

Needless to say, your CUET percentile needs to be at least 95 to be successful in acquiring a seat in the best colleges for general category admission in DU through this process in 2024: Business course. Such courses are in high demand and even more so for the general category students applies much into the admission process.

You have to perform well in the needed CUET components: Domain subjects and General Test, if necessary. With a percentage of about 60-70% in his 12th class: A great CUET score would help make up the difference for admission. Prepare well, manage your time effectively, and be accurate while doing the exam.
