The difficulty of CUET and board exams varies based on a student's strengths and focus.

CUET is designed as an entrance exam for university admissions, testing aptitude, subject knowledge, and critical thinking in a competitive setting. It involves time management under pressure, especially with MCQ-based questions. On the other hand, board exams emphasize in-depth theoretical knowledge and writing skills across a broader curriculum. For some, board exams may seem more difficult due to their comprehensive nature, while others may find CUET more challenging because of its competitive intensity.

The last date for CUET exam registration for MSc Microbiology can vary each year. For the most accurate and up-to-date information, it's best to check the official CUET website or the specific university's admission page. Typically, the registration period is announced a few months before the exam, so keep an eye out for those updates.

For pursuing B.Sc. through the CUET exam, candidates typically need to select science-related domain subjects depending on their desired field of study. Key subjects often include:

  • Physics
  • Chemistry
  • Biology (for life sciences)
  • Mathematics (for physical sciences)
  • Environmental Science (for interdisciplinary studies)

In addition to domain subjects, candidates must choose one language from the list of 13 available languages, and may also opt for the general test, if applicable. Ensure that subject mapping aligns with the B.Sc. programme requirements of your preferred university.

No, once candidates have paid the CUET application fee, they'll have to pay an additional registration fee of INR 1,200 while taking admission to BA at GITAM Vizag. The application fee for the exam is different from the registration fee of GITAM Vizag. Candidates can be admitted into any college through the CUET entrance exam thus its application fee is different.

Yes, CUET exams are necessary if candidates want to take admission in the GITAM Vishakhapatnam BA programme as the selection is based only on the basis of CUET exam score. The university does not consider or conduct any other exam for BA admission in the university. Also, candidates have to make sure they get a minimum of 60% aggregate score in their Class 12 exams to be eligible for admission.

Yes, candidates can take admission in GITAM Vishakhapatnam BA without CUET. To take admission into the programme, they would have to give the other entrance exam GITAM GAT. Admission into the programme take place through both the CUET and GITAM GAT entrance exam and candidates can appear for both the exams to get a valid score and secure admission into the programme.
