Your application for the counseling round may not be accepted due to a number of reasons, like not meeting the eligibility criteria, insufficient documentation, or a rank lower than the required cutoff. It is, therefore important to ensure that you have done everything in the application process. If you believe your qualifications fit the above-mentioned requirements, you should make a contact with the concerned Admission cell of the institute as well as the CUET authorities, so that they explain you the reasons and advise further steps to overcome these difficulties.

UGC has announced the deletion of 26 subjects from CUET UG 2025 onwards. CUET UG 20 foreign languages and six domain subjects have been removed. Check the list below to know the name of the subjects:

  • Foreign Languages (French, Spanish, German, Nepali, Persian, Italian, Arabic, Sindhi, Kashmiri, Konkani, Bodo, Dogri, Maithili, Manipuri, Santhali, Sanskrit, Tibetan, Japanese, Russian, Chinese)
  • Domain Subjetcs (Entrepreneurship, Teaching Aptitude, Fashion Studies, Tourism, Legal Studies, Engineering Graphics)

In the CUET math section, you can choose to attempt either Section B1 (Mathematics) or Section B2 (Mathematics/Statistics). Attempting both sections isn't allowed. Choose the section that aligns better with your academic background and interests.

Mathematics offers Core Mathematics and Applied Mathematics according to one's academic background and interest.

Core Mathematics entails calculus, algebra, linear programming, probability, and differential equations.

St. Xavier's College, Mumbai is on the University of Mumbai syllabi and it sets on its own entrance examinations for the admission in undergraduate courses such as BA, BMS, B.Sc, etc. College has an open admission policy based on merit and the requirement of the entrance test may vary from 92-98 percentile for general category students. So far as the information is concerned, there is nothing that indicates that St. Xavier's College, Mumbai is associated with the CUET exam.
