There are total 3 rounds of counseling in which closing rank increases from round to round. For eg: 1st round it is 80, 2nd - 150 & 3rd-220. The closing rank of the 3rd round of IHM Pisa for 2017 counseling for different categories are as given below: General: 514 OBC-NCL: 3473 SC: 3344 ST: 12124

There are plenty of opportunities in this field. Experienced people can fit anywhere and lots of job opportunities are being provided for them. They can work both in public and private sectors and establish themselves in the firm. For freshers, the industry is very attractive and provides lots of good opportunities to grow themselves in this area. They can choose the career in food processing companies, catering companies, food research companies, and restaurants. Experienced people are also hired abroad to check and test the quality of food being served.

If you are interested in cooking, then culinary arts is the thing for you. After Pursuing Graduation in Culinary Arts, you can become a chef in a five star hotel. Culinary Arts students study only cooking and has more knowledge and experience than the regular Hotel Management students.
There are immense opportunities for a culinary arts Graduate in both India and Abroad. If you genuinely possess skill you can join as Kitchen Management Trainee ( KMT) in various five star hotels both in India and Abroad and become Chef De Parti / Demi Chef de Parti after completion of Training period.
A CDP can earn around 40-45k per month in India.
