CUSAT DAT

The Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) conducts the Departmental Admission Test (DAT) for admission to M.Tech courses. The CUSAT DAT exam will be conducted in online mode. This means that the exam will be taken on a computer and will feature multiple choice questions. The exam will be conducted in a proctored environment to ensure the integrity of the exam process. It is important to note that the exam will be timed and will have a designated time limit for completion. CUSAT DAT result dates are not announced yet.  However, the rank list will be released online after a few days of the exam, which is expected to be conducted in June 2025 for M.Tech admission. Based on the score of the candidates in CUSAT DAT and the performance of the candidates in the interview round, seats are allotted to the candidates to M.Tech programme.

The last date to submit the CUSAT DAT PG 2025 application form is May 31, 2025. CUSAT DAT is a department level examination. The CUSAT DAT 2025 will be conducted by the exam authorities for a duration of three hours. The entrance exam will be conducted in online format (computer-based test). Candidates will get 3 marks for each right answer and 1 mark will be deducted for the wrong answer in CUSAT DAT. CUSAT DAT is conducted for a duration of 3 hours. 50% weightage is given for the marks secured in CUSAT DAT 2024. 30% weightage is given for the marks scored by the candidates in the qualifying degree and 20% weightage for the interview. 

The CUSAT DAT entrance test will be held in Online mode and the question paper will have MCQ type questions only. The CUSAT DAT is conducted for candidates without a valid GATE score. The CUSAT DAT is conducted for MTech admission at Cochin University. The CUSAT DAT is conducted by the respective departments for give admission to the candidates.

CUSAT DAT stands for Cochin University of Science and Technology Departmental Admission Test. Any Indian national candidate can appear for the CUSAT DAT 2025 exam. Candidates seeking admission to M.Tech programme should possess a bachelor's degree in Science and technology with as minimum of 55% marks from any recognised university or Institute and the SC/ST community is eligible for concession up to 10% marks for admission provided that he/she has a pass in the qualifying examination.
