CUSAT DAT is a departmental admission test. Cochin University of Science and Technology conducts CUSAT DAT exam once a year to offer admission to MTech courses. The entrance test will take place once a year (August). CUSAT MTech Entrance Test will be conducted at the School of Engineering, CUSAT Main Campus, Kalamassery, Kochi - 22

Candidates who want to apply for CUSAT DAT 2026 exam must check eligibility criteria as mentioned by Cochin University of Science and Technology. The CUSAT DAT 2026 eligibility criteria can be checked below -

• For CUSAT DAT (MTech) admission, candidates must have a valid GATE score in specified subject. Such applicants are eligible for 5% relaxation in minimum required marks in qualifying examination.
• For MTech (Marine Biotechnology and Marine Engineering), GAT-B scores are accepted for admission. 
• Must have passed BTech/BE/AMIE/AMIETE degree in respective branch/discipline 
• Minimum qualifying percentage is 50%. A relaxation of 10% is applicable for SC/ST category applicants.

CUSAT DAT 2026 admissions are done for MTech courses. Selection of applicants are made based on academic merit, followed by merit list and counselling process. Final allotment of seats are made based on the seat availability. Candidates must visit the official website frequently for updates.
