Lateral Entry Programme is being offered at universities and engineering colleges enabling students who have completed 3-year Diploma in Engineering or B.Sc. Degree or equivalent examination with at least 50% marks, and Mathematics as a compulsory subject in Class XII to get admitted in the second year directly. After the successful completion of a Diploma degree, students are eligible to enter B.Tech/B.E programmes. Not only students are eligible to get admission in B.Tech/B.E programme but a direct admission to the 2nd year is also possible.

Yes you can do this. But you have to start from beginning again in distance mode. You don't have a chance to resume from wherever you have left. Do please again think about this and ACT widely and accordingly.

Yes, you can pursue Diploma course after 10th in media courses and Mass Communication which is offered by good colleges and universities in India But, the good Diploma courses in mass communication are offered only after class 12th or graduation in India and I am not sure about other countries.
