The DCET exam is very tough and there are high cutoffs for government colleges. It might be tough for you to get admission at the rank of 9159 in Bangalore. If you are not able to find any college with this rank in DCET, the better option might be to look for colleges offering direct admission for the course you are looking to pursue.

Yes, you can write the DCET (Diploma Common Entrance Test) in Karnataka, even if you have studied in both Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. As long as you fulfill the eligibility criteria, which typically include completing a Diploma from an institution recognised by the respective board, you should be eligible. It's best to confirm specific eligibility requirements with the official DCET website or the conducting body for updated information.

Depending on variables like student demand, technical difficulties or application process interruptions the government may decide to extend the DCET (Diploma Common Entrance Test) application form deadline. Extensions have historically been given when many students encounter difficulties finishing their applications by the original deadline such as server problems or delayed notices.

Watch the Karnataka Examinations Authoritys (KEA) official website or reliable news sources to stay up to date. The authorities might give an extension some thought if large number of pupils petition for one. There is currently no assurance
