No, candidates who wish to apply for admissions to the NIT Srinagar PhD course are not required to cleared a ME or M.Tech course to be eligible. Candidates who have appeared for a MSc course in the relevant stream can also apply for PhD admissions. However, such candidates must appear for the GATE or UGC NET before applying for NIT Srinagar PhD admissions.

Your Double BA + MA degree is absolutely valid, provided it is completed from a recognized university (UGC-approved / government-recognized institution). The key factor for B.Ed admission is not how many degrees you have, but whether your the highest qualification meets the minimum eligibility criteria set by the university or NCTE guidelines.

📌 B.Ed Eligibility (General Criteria in India):

  • Minimum 50% marks in Graduation or Post-Graduation (45% for reserved categories in many universities).

  • Degree must be from a recognized university.

  • Subject in BA/MA should match the teaching subject you want to choose in B.Ed.

  • Some states/universities

Yes, students can get admission in Amity University Noida MSc programme with 70% in UG degree. The minimum percentage is typically between 50%-60% depending the specialisation. So, 70% does make you eligible to apply. Selection however, is subject to fulfilment of the other admission requirements too.

It's huge. You can join many private and government sectors. These even include world-level organizations like the UN, the WHO, etc.

Not only that, you can prepare for civil services exams, because the International Relations curriculum is going to help you a lot with the prep.

You can join the education sector as an assistant professor or a Political Science teacher in a school.

At the global level, you can find jobs in diplomatic services, media, or law.

I believe the preference for regular degrees has narrowed in recent years. Now recruiters mainly focus on a candidate's skills and expertise. To be honest, there are certain industries and roles where regular degrees are still preferred. For example, Law courses are not recognised by the Bar Council of India. Medicine or specific engineering fields do not prefer online or distance courses.

On the other hand, IT, Media, Digital Marketing, etc., fields consider them equal.
