It purely depends on what type of course you want to pursue in art stream like cut off for colleges like Miranda house go as low as 82% and further for some categories in courses like BA honors in sociology. It also depends on how long you wait as you might even get other courses in 4th or 5th cut-off.

DU offers a wide variety of courses for students of commerce without maths. BA in English, Hindi, Sanskrit, Political Sc., Psychology and Anthropology. Foreign languages like French, German and Korean are also offered, along with BA.

No, there is no criteria specifically for mathematics marks. However, one must have 45% of passing marks in aggregate and also must include mathematics in best four.
