I think, the only way to get in DU for Political Science Hons is through 12th marks. If you clear the cut-off, then you are eligible for DU.

The best DU College is St. Stephen's College. You can check centre for languages there and learn French. cut-off for it is very high.

No. Hostel facility is not free at all. You will have to pay fees for residence. This is generally less than private stay like PG, etc.

You have to specify the college that you are aiming for. There are many colleges in the university. If you are aiming for Stephen's the top most them you need really high percentage. You may get in some other colleges with less marks as well.

To increase your business knowledge, you must focus on reading newspaper. Read Economics Times, The Hindu, Indian Express, etc. It will help you a lot. You may opt for any course. It will hardly impact much.
