After competing business design roles offered are mainly regarding planning and creating prototypes of business model, designing it's structure and layouts. It may be in Marketing or operations which depends on your interest. PGDM in BD is a good choice but you can also look for other demanding PGDM courses.

Yes, you can certainly pursue B. Des after completing 12th standard. You will have to appear for a design aptitude test, which will determine your final admission.
