Yes, there are 1 year Diploma courses in Fashion Designing available in various colleges. Some of the top colleges offering 1 year Diploma include:
International Institute of Fashion Technology
JD Institute of Design
Indian Institute of Fashion & Designing
INIFD
WLCI College.

Yes it is possible but NIFT entrance exam happens in the month of February every year. So you can definitely do B.Des from NIFT, it's just that you'll have to drop a year and appear for the exam next year i.e. February 2019.

The NID Entrance Exam has already been held for 2018 batch and there is no other way to get admission in NID now. You may apply next year if you are interested. The forms are usually out in the month of September.
