National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) is a fashion institute in India. It was set up in 1986 under the aegis of the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India and is an institution of design, management, and technology for the international fashion business. The majority of today's famous fashion designers are NIFT pass out.
NIFT is a better option in comparison to your other choice.

The eligibility criteria to get into UG design course is 12th pass along with passing the entrance test. The best college to take admission is either NIFT or NID.
