Transportation Design
This program endeavors to provide interdisciplinary and progressive knowledge of vehicle design. The objective of this program is to impart learning that will produce graduates, competent in terms of skill and knowledge to work with designers for the auto industry. Studies include the understanding and identification of the transportation and mobility sectors and finding creative solutions.
Automotive design is the profession involved in the development of the appearance, and to some extent the ergonomics, of motor vehicles or more specifically road vehicles. This most commonly refers to automobiles but also refers to motorcycles, trucks, buses, coaches, and vans.
Product design is an inculcation of creativity, sustainability, innovation and management of all the products we see around us. Product design deals with complete development of a product. It is a larger umbrella under which almost all of the organizations work, depending upon their area of expertise and their philosophy of existence.
Product Design aims in improving the overall performance of an object, from all the perspectives, catering the need of lifestyle products, accessory design, jewelry design, apparel design and so on.

Jewelry designers work with precious metals, diamonds, beads and gemstones to create wearable pieces of art. A jewelry designer may create one-of-a-kind pieces for high-end jewelers or an entire line for a mass-market fashion designer. They may also sell their jewelry themselves. Designers can create jewelry entirely by hand or they can begin the design process by using computer-aided design (CAD) software. The duration of a graduation in Jewellery design is approx 3 years though some colleges also have 4 yrs specialization programs.

Interior designing begins with the designing of the house and is never complete because new changes are always sought after by the people living in the house. Therefore, the scope of interior designing is huge. But at the same time, it gives returns only at places which are big and which have people who have the capacity to get the changes done, decorate their homes and also pay for the services. So, this field has less clients in smaller cities and more in metro or bigger cities. The people working in this industry, therefore, try to keep big clients and not necessarily more number of clients. If you work for an agency, the starting package might not be more than 2 LPA, but it grows with the name. There are several small institutes in every metro city to teach interior designing. You can look in the yellow pages of Kolkata directory or look for classifies in the local newspaper. Yes, one thing is important here. In the beginning, try to associate yourself with a big architectural firm. That would give you more exposure.
