If you're confident enough about your dream then go for it and take maths tuitions side by side. If you do computer engineering half-heartedly then you won't be able to put your 100% efforts so FD is a better option.

You should go for Masters in Technology (M.Tech or ME) in designing. It will be best for you if you want to make career in automobile designing after B.Tech.

For getting admission in any college you have to pass 12th exam. If you got compartment in chemistry, it means you have failed in Chemistry. You can seek admission only after clearing backlog.
