There are two kinds of rank given to a person. One is common merit rank and the other is category rank. Common merit rank is given after including all the students who had appeared for the exam, and category rank is the rank which is given to the students who belong to the same category as yours.

The fees structure of NIFT gets revised every year. For Bachelor's degree programme, the fee is around 8 lakhs for all 8 semesters. If you want to know the exact amount, you can go to nift.ac.in and download the brochure. They have the fee structure clearly mentioned there.

NID Ahmadabad is best college in India to pursue automobile designing. You have to crack NID entrance exam.

Fashion designing is not all about sketching. It’s a lot more about creative skills. If you feel you can be good at it then apply for NIFT’s entrance next year.

Congrats for securing for a good rank in JEE Advance, if you have to choose between the above two options, definitely go for IIT Powai, for the reputation and also you can change branch after you score decent in first year.
