Textile design is essentially the process of creating designs for woven, knitted or printed fabrics or surface ornamented fabrics. Textile designers are involved with the production of these designs, which are used, sometimes repetitively, in clothing and interior decor items.
Graduates of a degree program in textile design can go on to create textiles in a variety of industries and at a variety of career levels. Some of these include:

There are many good colleges in India for offering M.des in these specializations and the best ones among them are Industrial Design Center (IDC) – IIT Bombay, IDDC- IIT-Delhi, MIT Institute of Design, NID Ahemdabad, Symbiosis, UPES School of Design Studies & NIT Rourkela to name a few. You can select any as per your location preference. All are good and provide good exposure, faculty and placements. Admissions are already running so you need to apply at the earliest. All the best!

Hello Deepak, I think M.Des in Transportation Design would be best for you. To pursue this course you should consider DYPDC - Center For Automotive Research Studies, MIT School of Design & UPES School of Design Studies. These have good faculty, curriculum and placements. Check out course details, eligibility and admission process on website of these institutes and apply at the earliest as only limited seats are left which are being filled through 2nd & 3rd round of test and counselling.
