you can start your own firm but it might be risky if you don't know the market situation or the other company's worklayout,
if you gain experience by doing job in medium base company than you will face every possible situation good and bad both and learn how to cross it and it will help you starting your firm after some experience.

IIT or abroad both are equally good for master's because you will get a chance to be trained under world's best faculty. If you are looking for a global exposure, go ahead with universities abroad. Check this.
