If you have passed in a Diploma in Engineering (Three Years Duration Course) approved by AICTE, then you can pursue it directly into II Year of B.E./ B.Tech. (EEE)

By all means, go ahead and study International Business Operations. With all the MNCs that are present in India and the fact that a huge number of Indian companies are going global, this area of specialisation would certainly help you to have a better understanding of business today. Working abroad is a different kettle of fish altogether. Global recession has lead to a slow down in economies world over but in that aspect, there are some countries, among them India, where the effect is not so great. India might still be a good BET for you unless you are targeting such countries as Canada, Australia & New Zealand.
