Yes, it offers lateral entry admissions to Diploma engineering students. But limited branches are there. Don't expect to get the same branch as you have in your Diploma engineering. Moreover, it also provides 4 year Evening B.Tech, a different program. Branches are Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, and Electronics only. I think you got your answer. To admit in MBA, you have to have a Graduation degree first. After Diploma, you can join graduation course directly to the 2nd year. Then, from there you need to complete your graduation, and then you will be eligible for the MBA. All the best.

It's nice to know that you are already thinking of continuing your education by seeking Admission under a lateral admission mode in COEP in information technology. It is good to know the cutoffs of previous years but if you ask me, they have only limited usefulness. This is because this changes from year to year in the same branch in the same college. This is so since the admissions under a lateral mode in Maharashtra are based on the results of Diploma and the marks obtained in diploma vary from year to year.
