You must always opt for the course that you love the most and are most passionate about and analyze the future work conditions, scope and growth prospects before taking admission.
You can also opt for psychometric test comprising of Aptitude, personality and career interest to clear confusion.
Bachelors will be a good option, Diploma will not be good for future scope.

It's very long process of about one month. First of all, college sends approval for vacant seats to DTE. Then DTE approves seat for admission through CAP. Student need to register on DTE and validate his/her all documents at FC. Then CAP rounds are alloted. Student have three options Float, Freeze or slide. To confirm alloted seat one need to freeze it. Then student need to report in ARC and after that report to respective institute. Hope this will help you. Wish you all the best for your admission.

Your question is very tricky and tough to answer. My suggestion is that you must talk to the college authorities for this. If the subjects you are having in first year are similar to that of electrical engineering, then you may get chance to change your stream. My best wishes.

Yes you can apply. You need to understand that Pilot training is governed and regulated by DGCA and it is irrespective of the flying school you choose to train with. For becoming a commercial pilot, there is a specific eligibility criteria, which you should first be aware of. This is decided on what subjects have you taken in class 12th. It requires PCM to be a pilot. And, even if you have not opted for the same, then you can appear separately for these subjects and become eligible. Further, you should be aware that you are medically fit to be a pilot, so I would suggest you to visithttp://www.dgca.nic.in/medical/medical-ind.htmandgoto
