There is no Diploma course in ME that is a year long only. The course is 3 years long if you take admission on the 10th basis and 2 years long on 12th basis. PG Diplomas can be a year long for particular subjects.

No, there is no guaranteed placements after doing diploma in acting or modelling. It's just up to yourself how you carry yourself and present in front of the directors or producers. If they have contacts to such media company it would be easy for you to approach. Acting is all up to you.

For good engineering colleges in your state, fill the state conducted entrance examination for Lateral Entry in B.Tech colleges.

You can apply for ECET entrance exam after diploma for B.Tech entry.
After qualifying in ECET, you can directly enter into B.Tech 2nd year.
Or you can go through management quota in any engineering college.

JEE Mains is for B.Tech and BE colleges only. Diploma exams are conducted by State Technical Board.
