In my point of view, certificate is earned by a student after taking a series of courses in a particular subject. Students often earn certificates to get a step ahead in the professional field of their interest, and certificates may be offered in similar programs leading to degrees.

Every good college requires 10+2 for admission process in any course. Hence it is advisable to complete your 10+2 and then enrol for any Diploma.

Candidates who seek admission to the programme of Diploma in Fire and Safety Management are required to have qualified their 10+2 examination in a relevant discipline of either Arts/Science/Commerce with a minimum aggregate from a college or institution which is listed under a recognised board. There is no entrance examination held for the programme. Admission to Diploma in Fire and Safety Management course is done solely on the basis of merit list. If you have completed your Diploma, then you can definitely apply for the B.Tech course. The candidates are allowed to take direct admission into B.Tech after the Diploma. There is no exam is conducted for the Diploma holders to take admission for engineering.
