If you wish not to do a job for next 3 to 4 years, you may go for lateral entry. Lots of private engineering colleges are allowing lateral entry for Diploma pass students. However, the best option for a Diploma pass student who is engaged in a job is to do AMIE.

Hello Kundoju, The best option for you to seek admission in aeronautical engineering branch is to have a look at the website of dte of tech edu of your state. Here you will come to know if lateral admissions are based on marks of Diploma or based on entrance exam. Else you may check website of different private deemed to be universities. Some of them do offer lateral admissions.

Major differences between a Diploma and degree:
Diploma in a layman language is a short term course generally up to 2 years which mainly focuses on training a person in a particular field.They are one of the quick and the best way to get a job as their course is based more on practicality. The importance of Diploma as compared to degree is relatively less.

M.Com Taxation is a degree course and the duration of the same will be 2-years, whereas PG Diploma is a Diploma course with a duration of 1-year.
