India Most Indian universities offer an M.Sc. in Electronics by distance learning, usually a two-year, postgraduate course. Although the stand of the UGC-DEB regarding this particular course in the distance mode may have varied, there are universities such as the William carey university and Subharti university (normally presented online through sites like IMTS Institute) offering the same. Mangalayatan University, NIILM University and at times Directorate of distance education at Madurai Kamaraj University are other universities which may have options of providing similar programs or vocations in distance mode.

Although they are involving in some of the online learning programs such as SWAYAM, according to their official listing programs, M.Sc. Food Science and Nutrition is a full-time, regular, two-year program. There is thus no dedicated correspondence or distance learning alternative to this particular M.Sc that is normally offered.
