It is a very good college for students to have a good career. Placements: 60-80% of students got internships. The highest package is more than 25 lacs per annum, and the average package is 2 to 3 lacs per annum. 70% of students got placed in my course.

2023 stats:

The the highest and average package offered during Mumbai University’s Alkesh Dinesh Mody Institute for Financial and Management Studies MMS and MSc Finance placements 2023 stood at INR 9.75 LPA and INR 5.33 LPA, respectively. Further, a total of 113 companies visited the campus during Mumbai University MMS and MSc Finance placements 2023.

Further, according to University of Mumbai NIRF report 2023, the median package offered during Mumbai University UG 3-year and PG 2-year placements 2022 stood at INR 4.5 LPA and INR 15 LPA, respectively. Apart from this, the placement rate recorded during Mumbai University UG 3-year and PG 2-year placements 2022 was 70% and 85%,  respectively.

NMIMS is a recognised university with great ranking and accreditation. And they do provide placements assistance even in the distance education front. NMIMS makes sure that someone studying from distance doesn't get anything different or less than what a regular student is getting. In most universities where faculty for distance and regular are different it’s not the case in NMIMS. The faculty teaching both regular and online are the same. And according to UGC (University Grant commission) a degree from a recognised university (Regular or Distance) have the same value.

The hiring counselor will work individually with each student to search for job opportunities. The programme participants shall receive job opportunities each week for the duration of the Job Search module. At least 3 job interviews with a salary hike of 10% -30%

NMIMS aims at 100% placement.NMIMS has gained widespread corporate recognition & is accepted by over 8000+ top corporates in India. During NMIMS Mumbai Placements 2022, 29% of the batch got placed through Pre-placement offers. The highest salary package offered was INR 57.65 LPA. Students received an average salary of INR 23.07 LPA.

Institute of Distance and open Learning University of Mumbai offers various undergraduate, Postgraduate courses to the keen learners. The MU IDOL department is the 7th department to start the Distance and open Learning/ correspondence. Mumbai University Institute of Distance and open Learning -MU IDOL is a distance education department in Mumbai University. The department is the 7th University in the country to start the Distance Education program. The Institute of Distance and open Learning offers various undergraduate and Postgraduate programs in the streams of Arts, Science and technology, commerce and management, etc. The admission here are done completely on the merit basis and the entrance exams marks (applicable for selected courses).

For the MBA programme the eligibility criteria is as follows:

The candidate must possess a Bachelor degree in the relevant discipline with a minimum score of 50% for the general category and 45% for the reserved categories. 

The admission in MU IDOL is done on the basis of merit so if the marks are qualifing the merit you will get the admission.
