Distance degrees of recognised universities are valid for UGC NET. The eligibility criteria of NET is given below.Eligibility criteria : Candidates who have secured at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in Masters Degree or equivalent examination from universities/ institutions recognised by UGC in Humanities (including languages) and Social Science, Computer Science & Applications, Electronic Science, etc. Are eligible for this exam. If you are not working (doing a job), do not go for distance MBA. Go for regular MBA.

BFA and Art courses are generally not available through distance learning mode. I would say that Arts is a Science which should be learnt through a regular course.
