Hello Fazal, According, to the norms of the NTA UGC NET LL.M. graduates are eligible to appear for the UGC NET Exam, as LL.M. is a Masters degree. Correspondence or distance learning courses are also eligible but make sure your university or college is approved by the University Grant Commission. To appear in exam then you must fulfill the UGC NET Eligibility Criteria under NTA:
The minimum age required is 30 years (general category), 33years LL.M. graduates), 35 years (SC/ST/OBC/Transgender/Female candidates). There is no age limit for the post of an Assistant Professor. The minimum educational qualification required is that a candidate has completed their Post-Graduation with the minimum 55% (General category) or 50% (SC/ST/OBC/Transgender). You can start your preparation for the UGC NET Exam from the first year of your Post Graduation. NTA revised the syllabus for the UGC NET Exam 2019. You can check it from the official website of NTA.
