Yes, there can be, but very less, in comparison of regular studies. Good companies prefer to hire candidates who have done regular courses. I would suggest you, to attend B.Sc. Classes physically rather than going for distance, if possible for you. In fact it will also be good and helpful for you, to understand the subjects and their concepts if you physically take the classes. Though distance, you may miss on a lot of practical knowledge and learning. Regular study is more in demand than distance. If you are confident enough that you can grasp well even through distance study, you may go for it.

Yes, you can go for BA in Chinese via distance but I would suggest you to go for a regular course at the UG level for better future prospects.
