Yes, if you have done your Diploma then you can take admission in 2nd year B.Tech. If you want to do B.Tech through distance then you can apply at IGNOU. Else if you want to take admission directly in 2nd year then you should give LEET.

I wish to clarify that honors is a specialisation and will not be justifiable if it is done via distance mode or correspondence. There are different specializations in different streams. Please see the details.

Hi Faisal,
Yes, it is possible. Academics is always formal schooling. Correspondence does not come under formal schooling. Specific universities based on entrance test or TOEFL may consider. This will vary from one university to another. You have to liaison with the overseas university which you are aiming.
