Engineering/Technical courses in correspondence mode are not allowed by UGC/AICTE at present. Even the honorable Supreme Court has banned engineering courses in correspondence mode. You can do your B.Tech from Institution of Engineers (INDIA) or through lateral entry scheme.
All the best.

Some private franchisees have switched to local state universities others have switched to TISS Vocational education. Do you think shutting down of private franchisees will improve distance education scenario?

Yes, you can get it. You just choose open course, and then only you have to go on exam day. That's the way, you can get Diploma from distance learning.

Hi Nidhi,
You can pursue fashion designing through distance mode, but it is highly recommended that you pursue it through regular mode. Fashion design is an extensive course that requires you to perform and develop a lot of practical skills. You cannot develop that skill and competence via distance learning mode.
