Indeed, distance learning will facilitate doing B.Ed. Generally, such courses last for two years, allowing individuals to pursue a career as teachers by holding on to their job and other commitments at hand. In terms of the entrance criteria, the applicant has to obtain at least 50% marks with a bachelor's degree from any recognised university. Many colleges also demand experience of teaching and some even want some scores in entrance exams. Two very important institutes for the distance B.Ed courses include IGNOU and Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Open University. Their curriculum includes education psychology, teaching methods, and classroom management in teaching so as to prepare students for their future career.

However, MBA placements are fairly decent across Madras University's distance education for students, but not as strong as full-time MBA programs. The university also has provision for connecting distance students with companies through job fairs and other placement assistance. Most placement, however, for distance MBA students would be dependent on the individual's efforts, prior work experience, and networking. Even though distance MBA graduates often get jobs in marketing, finance, and HR, they are not as highly placed in high-paying jobs as regular MBA placements. It is ideal for working professionals who want to advance themselves or upgrade their skills.
