Hi Priya,
In regards to your question, whether there is any difference in Correspondence and Regular course, i would say it varies from one subject to the other also from one degree to the other. However in general a course through distance learning does not have as much value as the regular one so if you can do a regular course, it would hold a lot of importance and thus be a much better option. The acceptability and recognition of a full time course is higher in industry and the long term career gains are good. Hii vikas, yes there are many distance education colleges are available in india. there are many universities as well which has distance education programs for students who are busy in there schedule and wants to get a degree in correspondence. But every degree does not support distance education programmes. There are few coarses which can be done like mba, msc etc. the field in which you wanna pursue a degree may have distance education programe or may not depends on your field importance. you have to mention your field of interest to get information related to distance education regarding that particular field. hope you are clear wit

Yes. In my knowledge, IIMs consider only full time, regular bachelor's program and not the distance programs.
