In regards to your question, whether there is any difference in Correspondence and Regular course, I would say it varies from one subject to the other also from one degree to the other.

UPSC examination is conducted every year and on the basis of this examination a number of IAS, IPS, IFS officers are recruited.
To be eligible:
- You need to pass graduation in any field from a recognized university.
- You are eligible if you are in the final year of graduation.
- Your age must be between 21 to 30 years. Three and five years of relaxation for OBC and SC/ST candidates respectively.
- You must be an Indian citizen.
If you fulfill the criteria mentioned above, you may sit for the exam.
