No, distance learning or online courses are strictly either not recognised or completely prohibited by the Indian Nursing Council. Since medicine is a very practical course of study, without hands-on training nurses are prohibited from entering the field. Though, IGNOU offers Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing (BScN (PB) program only for in-service working nurses.

- Especially in nursing or such courses there is no such thing as online learning .
- mostly you need to do distance study.campus learning.
- Online learning wouldn't let us learn anything easily as it is full of distractions.
