Hello Vikash,
The basic difference between these branches are they are different branch.
Now in electrical you need to study about flow of current in AC and DC machines, electrical appliances, generation of electricity but in electronics you need not to study about current and electricity. Study of semiconductors and their uses are to be taught in electronics.
According to recent times electronics is preferred over electrical due to better scope in future and also decent placements at present.

Hi Aswinraj,
Germany is God sent country for engineers wanting to pursue core fields. With low living cost for students as well as zero tuition fee for visiting students, it makes Germany a good choice for pursuing your degree their. With automotive companies like Audi, BMW, Ford, Porsche, Volkswagen etc. based in Germany, it makes it even a better destination for engineers seeking automotive field for higher degree. According to last year cutoff in electronics, it was Rs. 14.5k
But, as we see, 2017 mains paper was tougher than 2016 that resulted in lowering of cutoff to 81 from 100 of last year.
So, you can expect an increment of 2k to 3k rank in electronics cutoff(16k-17k)
