You can definitely get lateral entry admission to BTech in ECE after completing a 3-year engineering Diploma in ECE, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with at least 50% marks. Further, you need to give relevant lateral entry admission tests either conducted by the state or the university itself.
The lateral entry provision allows you to directly enter into the 2nd year of BTech Electronics and Communication Engineering, completing your B Tech degree in 3 years.
