An ETO (Electro Technical Officer) course needs a 3-year Diploma with preferably 60 per cent marks in any stream at Diploma level such as Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering or Electrical and Electronics Engineering or Electronics and Telecommunication or Electronics and Instrumentation. You should also grade at least 50 percent in English in Class 10 th or 12 th. For M.Sc Electronics, look at Gujarat University, PDPU (now PDEU) Gandhinagar, Nirma University, and MS University Vadodara (if you're flexible geographically). They all offer strong programs and research opportunities.

At IIIT Surat, the total number of available seats for BTech in Electronics and Communications Engineerings is 90. There is also a female supernumerary seat reservation which includes 15 seats. The seats for this course are also subject to seat reservation policies followed by IIIT Surat.

Both are good options, but to be honest ECE subject is too tough I remember in my college peoples marks were like 20 out 100 in ECE paper .
So all depends on you .
