You may not get seat in NIT if your rank is 2.86 lakhs. But sometimes it depends on your category. There are few chances for getting into IIITs or GFTIs depending on your category. Getting seat in chemical or civil is difficult. You may get seat in least branches. But if you are Home State student of particular NITs or IIITs or GFTIs you may get a seat .
You will surely not get any seat in Josaa rounds . So you need to opt for CSAB special rounds so that you may get seat in some NITs or IIITs or GFTIs for some branches . Chemical or Civil is not a sure thing but sometimes you will get due to luck. It depends on the number of persons who

If the syllabus is not yet completed, first of all, focus on the topics and subjects you are confident enough. And try to score more in those subjects and questions from those topics you are confident in. Practice more on the topics you are slightly less confident about. It's better not to go for new topics. Instead, become perfect in the concepts in which you are good to gain marks in that topic without fail. Most important thing is to check the weightage of the topics and practice accordingly.

Since you have not mentioned your caste, I am considering you as a general category student. Looking at the previous year WBJEE cut off, with 25 marks out of 200 in WBJEE you can accept a rank between 10,900 and 11,300. And considering this to be your general rank you have chance for government semi government or private colleges which include following college at the top: University of Kalyani. Haldia institute of technology. Feather please not that the above prediction is best on the previous year WBJEE cut off which match change this year as the WBJEE cut off bound to change every year and it depend on the various factors like: diff
