Eligibility - 10+2 with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics & also 50% marks in aggregate of the 10+2 level examination OR 10+3 Diploma Examination with Mathematics as a compulsory subjects with 50% aggregate marks and subject to an aptitude test in Architecture (NATA qualified) or must have obtained 40% pass marks in each subject of the JEE Part-02 exam

Indian Institute of Science and Technology (IIST) is a Deemed to be University under UGC act 1956. IIST function as Autonomous body under Department of Space of GOI. The Institute is the first of its kind in the Country to offer high quality education at the UG, Graduate, Doctoral Post Doctoral levels on the areas with special focus to space Science, space technology and space applications. IIST is offering B.Tech in Aerospace Engineering and Avionic and the admission to this course are JEE Advanced based. As performance based financial assistance is provided by DOS to the B.Tech students of IIST. ISRO/DOS have the first right to absorb them, subject to the vacancies notified by the ISRO in that particular discipline and year of IIST graduate.
