Please write about the home state you belongs for better response. Because NITs are difficult for getting CSE under other state quota. However on the basis of last year trend you can get the following IIITs for CSE.
1. IIITDM Kurnool
2. IIIT Dharwad
3. IIIT Kalyani
4. IIIT Kottayam.

Prefer to go with CSE if getting at NIT Raipur or IIIT Lucknow. Chemical is another good option at NIT Surathkal or Warangal. But not opt for MME.

Your son has got quite a good percentile in JEE Mains. I am sure with this percentile he will get admission in the institute in Hyderabad in the branch of his choice. But then actual admission depends on how how those who are replaced about him give their choices.
