With a score of 196 out of 300 in JEE Mains you can expect your percentile score to be 97-98 percentile which is based on cutoff analysis & percentile determining formula used by NTA. 196 out of 300 is a good score you can get good NITs with popular branches like Computer Science Engineering. The exact percentile varies depending upon the marks scored by candidates in a specific shift and the difficulty of exam in that shift.

It is possible to obtain JEE Main 2025 question papers mostly via the official JEE Main site (jeemain.nta.nic.in). Both the provisional and final answer keys in addition to the question papers are made available by The National Testing Agency (NTA) in all shifts and sessions (January and April).Moreover, the January and April JEE Main 2025 question papers can be downloaded as PDF files on many reliable educational portals and coaching institutes such as  Allen, Shiksha, eSaral, MathonGo usually with detailed solutions of these questions, which are prepared by the teachers of the respective educational institutes. Additional second paper fee in GATE exam would be based on your category and would be equal to single paper fee (i.e. you have to pay each paper separately):

General/ OBC and other unreserved students: 1800 Rs per paper i.e. 2 papers add to 3600Rs.

Candidates who belong to Female/SC/ST/PwD: The fee per paper is 900, which means that they need to pay the total amount of 1,800 (two papers).

Should the member already have registered one paper and wishes to have a second ( of valid combination), he will be required to pay the supplementary fee that matches with the single paper fee of his/her section

After Jee Mains Session 2 result you have many options 

1 If you are eligible for the Jee Advance exam then you can give the JEE advance exam 

2 if you not be qualified in JEE advanced exam then you can take drop or if you score a good rank in your Jee Mains exam then you can do the councelling for your admission in B.Tech course 

3 if you not find the good college then you can do the councelling for your home state college

The GATE 2026 exam dates have been announced by the IIT Guwahati. Candidates can check the dates here or on the official website - gate2026.iitg.ac.in. The GATE 2026 apply date is August 28 to September 28 (without late fees). The GATE 2026 exam dates are February 7, 8, 14, and 15.
