With a 45 percentile in JEE Mains, it's unlikely you'll get a B.Tech seat at Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering (DSCE) through the JEE Mains route for the SC category. The cutoff for SC candidates at DSCE, especially for popular branches like CSE, is usually much lower. Even with the SC reservation, a 45 percentile translates to a very high rank, making it difficult to secure a seat.

While it's difficult to say definitively, your chances of getting a seat in SASTRA's B.Tech Data Science and Business Analytics programme with an 88% in boards and a 60% in JEE are not very high, but not impossible. SASTRA considers both 12th board scores and JEE Main scores for admissions, but JEE performance is a significant factor. With 88% in boards, you have a good chance of getting an A+ grade, but a 60% in JEE (which translates to roughly a low percentile) is a concern.

It is unlikely to get Computer Science Engineering (CSE) at NIT Trichy or NIT Surathkal with a 94.54 percentile in JEE Main Jan 2025, especially under the ST category. While 94.54 percentile is a good score, top NITs like Trichy and Surathkal have very high cutoffs for CSE, typically requiring percentiles above 99.5, even for reserved categories.
High Demand for CSE:
CSE is a highly sought-after branch in NITs, and the cutoffs for this branch are generally very competitive.
Top NITs:
NIT Trichy and NIT Surathkal are among the top NITs, known for their strong academic programs and placements, especially in CSE.

If you've got 80 percentile in JEE Mains and you're aiming for B.Tech at Jamia (JMI), especially CSE or ECE; it's gonna be tough for general category. Those usually close above 90 percentile. Reserved category? Maybe you'll squeeze in for less hyped branches or later rounds. But yeah, not looking too great for general seats.

There are a number of brilliant choices available when it comes to JEE Main 2025 study guides. The syllabus can be mainly find on the official JEE Main website (jeemain.nta.nic.in) and this single point is going to be your guide. On top of that, there are top-class coaching institutes such as Allen, Physics Wallah to mention a few, where materials in specifically designed modules, handbooks, and point-wise revisions are provided, in most cases, as PDFs and can be an exhaustive guide to study. The large industry bodies such as Disha publication also come out with elaborate study packages exclusively geared towards JEE Main 2025 w
