With a 96 percentile in JEE Mains as an OBC female candidate, you have a good chance of getting into NIT Surathkal, but it might depend on the specific branch and the cutoff trends for that year. While you might not get into highly competitive branches like Computer Science, other branches like Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical could be achievable.

A GATE score of 350 for the DA (Data Analytics) subject is considered an average score. With this score, you can target a range of NITs (National Institutes of Technology) and some IIITs (Indian Institutes of Information Technology) for M.Tech programs. Specific colleges will depend on your category (General, OBC, SC/ST) and the branch you are interested in.

With a CRL rank of 2.75 Lacs and OBC-NCL rank of around 96,000, chances are low but not impossible. During later rounds or spot counselling, if vacancies persist, you may be considered under the OBC category. Also, domicile candidates from Uttar Pradesh may have better chances under the state quota. Keep an eye on HBTU's UPSEE or direct counselling process post-JEE rounds.

Having rank 1,142,299 in JEE Main, under OBC NCL category, admission to NITs, IIIT or GFTIs turns out to be virtually impossible, since these colleges are much tougher to get (their turning rank levels are also very high, even 1,500 points lower (below 2.5 lakh), though can be even more). The best college will be the private engineering colleges where most of them will either have direct admissions on, the 12 th marks or entrance exam of their own, or they will have management quota seats.
