Hi,
Like most of the engineering colleges, there are two criteria for getting admission in Thapar Institute, Patiala. One is on the basis of your JEE score and the other one is on the basis of your 12th class percentage (PCM or PCB). The division of seats for the above two is 70% and 30% respectively. You can choose as per your suiting. For more details regarding admission, you can visit their website http://www.thapar.edu/
Also, the admissions for the new batch are open now. To apply: https://admissions.thapar.edu/online-application-form.php?_ga=2.25340221.1001895155.158.

Your expected JEE Main AIR is about 137905. The last year JEE Main closing percentile in TIET for Punjab general category for few engineering branches are given below for an idea.
1. CSE : 96
2. Electrical : 73.65
3. ECE : 70.68
4. Mech : 76.41
5. Mech(Prod) : 70.61
6. CSE Derabassi campus : 85.72
7. Civil : 69.54
So keeping the previous year of trends in consideration, you can get Electrical, Mech, Mech(P), ECE, Civil and CSE (Derabassi campus).
Good luck

All of them are quite good Institutes but to be specific, in my opinion you should opt for VIT for Engineering. CSE is a non-core branch and if you work hard a bit, you can land into getting a good job as compared to the core branches.

Sastra CSE branch will have more competition. Maybe you won't get CSE seat. If you are more college preferable and in 1at year all people will read the same. So if you are confident that you will get 9 GPA then you can get your CSE branch then. If upto now your are adjustable with any branch you can apply.

There will be a very less chance to get ECE seat in sastra Thanjavur. We have kumbakonam branch of sastra there you can get your ECE seat. Apply first and then they will give ranking based on that they will give instructions.

Sastra won't considers any EWS type. They will consider AIR ranks only. Maybe it's difficult to get a CSE seat with your score. If you are more preferable to college and don't consider any branch in first year. If you avail 9 GPA in 1at year. You can change your branch from anything to CSE.
