The Mechanical department is the largest and the most qualified department in SOE. With almost 100% permanent faculty members having PhDs from IITs or IISc. No, you don't need to worry about that. You just need to pass in all the subjects of class 12th board. If you have qualified for JEE advance exam, then you should appear in the same and try to score good. You will get admission in IITS only on the basis of your JEE advance rank. Best of luck.
